Location: This position will be located in our Augusta, Bangor, or Portland office and may require statewide travel.

Core Responsibilities:
As the Child Protective Services Nurse Consultant, you will work under the direction of the Medical Director of OCFS and the Child Wellbeing Supervisor. You will be responsible for the following as it relates to the well-being of children in foster care and their caregiver(s):
Minimum Qualifications:
A Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or related field demonstrating competency in case management, medication management, child welfare, and/or behavioral health management.
This position requires a valid license as a Registered Nurse as issued by the Maine State Board of Nursing.
Preferred Candidates Will Have:
1. Knowledge of child health and well-being related to development and recommended care related to medical, dental, and mental health.
2. Knowledge of child welfare, child abuse and neglect, children's behavioral health and trauma informed systems of care.
3. Knowledge of pharmacological and non-pharmacological treatments for developmental, behavioral and mental health conditions of children and adolescents.
